Bome at the NAMM Show 2026

If you’re heading to the NAMM Show, we’d love to see you! Stop by the MIDI Showcase in Hall A, Booth #10300, where Bome founder Florian Bomers will be hosting the Network MIDI booth (same spot as in previous years). The MIDI Stage next to it will be packed with great content this year, including two presentations by Florian:

    Florian Bomers introduces the Bome MIDI products—Bome MIDI Translator Pro, Bome Network, and the BomeBox—and demonstrates how they can be used individually or together to enable advanced MIDI 1.0 and MIDI 2.0 routing, processing, and control. Using real-world examples, he shows practical solutions before highlighting what’s new and offering an exclusive look at what’s coming in 2026.
  • Friday, January 23, 2026 @ 10:30 am – 11:00 am PST: New MIDI 2.0 Transports-BLE, Web MIDI and Transport Remote Management
    Join members of the Transport working group as they highlight the latest progress on MIDI 2.0 transports for Bluetooth, Web MIDI and updates to the Network spec to add remote management capabilities.

Bome MIDI Translator Pro v1.9.2

Version 1.9.2 adds new features and many other improvements. Most notably:

  • Variable Storage: you can now store the state of variables and retrieve them later, even after a restart
  • Parameters for Timer Action: now you can pass along values with a Timer to simplify many use cases.
  • Native 64-bit on Windows
  • Many small bug fixes and usability improvements

BomeBox Firmware v1.6

This firmware update introduces beta support for Network MIDI 2.0 — running side by side with the trusted Bome Network MIDI, so all your existing setups keep working as usual.

  • Network MIDI 2.0 (beta): new official standard for connecting MIDI devices via Ethernet and wireless LAN
    Note: in this version, the BomeBox only supports the MIDI 1.0 protocol.
  • Allen & Heath mixers and surfaces: improved detection and connection persistence
  • Updated MIDI processing engine with full MIDI Translator Pro 1.9.2 features including Variable Storage
  • General stability improvements

BomeBox Stock

As many of you have noticed, we’ve run out of BomeBox stock, with only a handful of units available over the past few months. We honestly underestimated the demand—thank you for your incredible support and purchases! A small batch is coming in January and February, and we’re aiming to be fully stocked in spring 2026.
