I have been using midi translator on my laptop, and I am moving everything over to a newer XPS15. Windows 10 pro, latest and greatest. LOL
I have installed the same DAW and plugins, Bome, and attached my Launchpad Pro and set it for user mode.
In my bome translater, I am converting a left column button press to a light pattern … input is the button press, output is a sysex to the launchpad pro. Everything is the same on both systems, so far as I can tell.
The bome is doing all other translation, ie, remapping notes. When the left column button is pressed, the instruction to activate a new preset even works. But, the sysex does not get sent out. Totally confused.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I haven’t posted the project yet, because I’m hoping for a simple answer of something I overlooked.
If need be, I’ll post a very simplified project that duplicates the problem.

Yes, please post the project file and I will have a look. I don’t have a Launchpad Pro but I have the manual and can also see if there are any problems sending Sysex to a virtual port with your project.
I assume you are running the latest version of MT Pro.
You say you are getting other MIDI messages so if that is the case, I don’t think it is port hung or in-use issue.
Also maybe post a snapshot of you log. Turn everything on instead of timestamp.
First things I would look for.
Another thing to check is if you are using a MIDI to USB adapter to get MIDI into your computer, many of the cheaper adapters do not pass Sysex. Are you using the same adapter on both systems? Of course if the problem is with Launchpad Pro, this wouldn\’t apply since it only has a USB interface.
Any luck with any of this?
Hi Gary, are you making any progress?
Hi, Gary, if this is resolved, please mark the thread as such. If not, let me know where you are with it. I’m here to help if needed.
Yes. I am using the the launchpad pro direct via usb cable to each system.,
