Any progress? If so, please mark as resolved. If not, let me know where you are with it.

Hi, I have tried with the latest MIDI Translator Pro version 1.8.3, using a MIDI controller as input, and emulating the keystrokes for Zoom in/out in Photoshop: Ctrl(Num+) and Ctrl(Num-). It works as expected, the image zooms in and out in Photoshop.

For trouble-shooting, please watch the Log Window (“Incoming” and “Outgoing” checked) to verify correct translation behavior. If it’s not working, please post
1) your project file
2) the output of the Log Window with ALL checkboxes checked.

Thanks!
Florian

I still have problems unsolved, I’m sorry that I’m late to reply

I followed your instructions, I made a translator, I captured my MFT , and put it to keystroke.

I can see the midi signal coming in, but BMT pro doesn’t give out any output signal or keystrokes.

And further more, When I create more translator and I capture a new midi CC,  the first translator gets linked with the second translator. I guess this is not the way it should work

I really hope to use BMT pro soon. Plz tell me if I’m doin anything wrong. thank you

Hi could you post your project file here (as an answer as comments do not allow attachment).
Also please turn on logging with the following boxes checked:
MIDI IN
Incoming
Outgoing
And copy and past the log file output into a text file and post it here. I will have a look to see if there is anything I can find.

If you don’t feel comfortable posting these, just send to me in email.

When looking at the log with both Incoming and MIDI In checked, do you see both Incoming message and MIDI in, or just MIDI in?

Hi,

Please find the attached screenshots

First one is the global setting I have set up on my MFT. I don’t think these will matter for you as long as you choose the right incoming action

The second one is how I have my first encoder set up. You can choose any CC you want but it needs to be set for ENC/DEC type

Third shot is a snapshot of this page to determine the outgoing keystrokes for zoom

https://www.nobledesktop.com/shortcuts/photoshopcc2017/pc

The forth shot is what shows for incoming.

The fifth shot show how to set outoing

Then a summary of the whole first translator.

Then a summary of both zoom in and zoom out translators

Finally a snapshot of the log window.

I’ve also included the project file.
