FYI: I am running grandMA2 lighting design software…have been using this method for years.
I just bout a new PC and am having issues with my midi controllers; all three APC20 are powered on, connected, and receiving color data on every pad in relation to my saved cues and sequences. HOWEVER, there is absolutely no midi being triggered when I press a button.
I installed the newest version of Bome (1.82) upon arrival of my new PC and have been having the problem I just described. I instantly reconnected all midi controllers to my old PC to verify everything was working correctly. Everything works fine…please note this is Bome v1.8 and I haven’t updated Windows 10 in a couple of months.
Naturally, I attempted to run the v1.8 installer on my new PC hoping to resolve the issue. Didn’t work ~ see attached image regarding the Error (access Bridge)

Hi, I’ve alerted Florian, In the meantime, I would suggest you try uninstalling with Windows Installer and the trying to re-install. I’ve been on 1.8.2 for quite a while with no problems. I’m also on Windows 10.
You might also check the Apps/Bome directory and delete any .bmts file you find there.

WOW. Thank you so much for a quick response that fully delivered!! Upon searching my hard disk for .bmts files I found 5 or 6 Bome files that were in (C:)/Users/My Name/AppData/Roaming….
I deleted all files and fired up Bome without error ~ I am happily running all three APC20’s as we speak 🙂
Glad to see it is working now, Ryan!
Could you send me a copy of the project file you are using for your APC20.
I have another user struggling with LED feedback and unfortunately there is not much in the way of documentation out there from AkaiPro on that device (what MIDI messages it sends).
