Detent wont matter. With a relative encoder you will likely note have a detent though.

I don’t understand  what you mean by programming my  knob to relative encoder.

Please tell me how to reprogram my MF Twister’s knob as relative encoder.

I’m dare to use MT Pro 🙁

(ps. In my MF Twister’s global settings, I put the channel as 1. As default it was 4 but I changed it to 1 cuz I thought it might be the reason my MFT doesn’t work. Should I put it in channel 1 or  channel 4 as default ?)

It should work either way.

Hi, and welcome!

First when you open Bome MIDI Translator Pro, you select you MIDI Fighter Twister as your MIDI input device. Since you will be controlling Photoshop with keystrokes and not MIDI, you  need not define a MIDI output device. I would recommend that the knobs you program as relative encoders. That is, to send 41H when turning right and 3FH when turning left. Then you use translate these signals to the appropriate Hotkey used in photoshop to increase and decrease zoom or brush size.

I suggest you look at our tutorial on “Keystroke Emulation” at the below link.
