Use midi keyboard to control my fortnite character

I want to use my midi keyboard as my fortnite game controler to make my character run and move and select weapons and jump. I play piano and if i can do this i can play the game very fast.

I got the free version f bomes and at least i got my character to start running by pressing a note on my midi keyboard.

But the character would not stop running when i let up the key. I could figure out how to make him stop running so I got the paid pro version of bomes. Now I cant ever get my character to run.

Anyone know how to make midi keyboard control game functions?

Hi,

First of all, you must have your game focused. I’m not sure which keys you are using for output but in general you want a note-on message to control keypress down and note-off message to control keypress up.

If you could share your project file, I could probably help further.

Have my game focused? huh?
Yeah, note on message and note off sounds right. So if press a note on my midi piano it will type the letter m continuously until i let it up?
I want the same key to control note on and off. It will continuously be on while i hold the key down and trigger off when i let it up.
If that is not possible then i wasted my money.
.

Hi, yes this is possible. See the attached project file that just has one key programmed (key stroke Up)

You would add different translators (notes) for any other key.

By focused, I mean your game has to be the active window while you are running it with your MIDI keyboard. IF MT Translator has focus, it will not work.

Hi Dwayne,
I know via Skype that this is resolved. Could you please take the time to summarize what fixed this (which checkbox you checked), mark the question as Resolved and if possible post the resulting project file?

Thanks!
