PROGRAM CHANGE AND VOLUME CONTROL

First of all let me say how much I enjoy this program.

It is the best MIDI, pocket knife program that I have ever used it was worth every penny I paid for it it just kicks ass!!!!! and you guys are just the best!!!!! I have to give you your props..

Okay after about a year of using it, I'm making some changes and for the first time it looks like I'm going to need some help. :-)

I have a Roland ax 7 keytar.

I am running it through, an M Audio, mini sport 2 x 2, into my HP laptop, running Bome midi translator Pro.

Out of midi translator Pro, into a Roland JV 1010 module. I don't know why I'm having problems with this.

But there are two things I am trying to do.

1. I am trying to do program changes from the ax 7 from 1 to 128. So I can switch patches like normal.

2. Disable the midi volume control that sends CC 7 to the module, on Channel 1 only, so I can use my foot control for that channel instead.

And keeping the on board volume control available for another module on Channel 4

you would think this would be easy with translator Pro . but honestly, I believe it is more about human error than it is the program itself.

it does so much, and I think there are a lot of things that I'm still discovering, this is one of them.

but I'm having problems out the ying-yang just trying to get it to switch patches any ideas, set ups, or rules, would be appreciated thank you guys.

Are you running a separate USB to DIN cable out of the computer to your sound module or is it also going back through the MINI Sport 2×2? Does the MINI Sport 2×2 expose 2 MIDI ports to the computer (and Bome MIDI Translator Pro)?
