OSC to MIDI and MIDI to OSC translation

Hi Bome Team, I need the possibility to translate from midi to OSC and vice versa. Is this possible somehow with bome? Thanks.

Hi,

Not currently available but I know it is on the roadmap. However I've seen some applications that re-encode OSC messages as MIDI Sys EX messages and we've been able to work with those, For Mac there is Osculator and I've played around with OSCBot on Windows.

Thanks for answer, meanwhile I played a bit with the program/app OSCMatrix, it does what I need, but it means I have to use an additional tool and extra 70eur.

To route all the OSC and Midisignals without errors is also a bit tricky.

Therefore I hope you can implement OSC translation soon.

Yes, I know it is being worked on. Just not sure of the timeline.

Happy about OSC developement. BUT, it just takes forever. Lost hopes really.

I haven’t heard of any progress, but I’m generally not aware until something is publically announced.
