my MT wireless keystroke project

A key stroke to MIDI project I created works just fine in MT Pro, but not in the Bomebox. I'm sure that it is a pilot error but I can't figure it out. The "factory" file of keystroke to MIDI simple works fine in my Bomebox. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Are you getting any errors when you upload your file? Do you have the Qwerty keyboard connected via a MIDI hub? What is the keyboard type you are using (brand and model)?

Hi Steve. Thanks for your quick reply! I am using a wireless USB keyboard. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Mini-Keyboard-Mouse-Backlit-Touchpad-Remote-Control-For-Android-nt/163125423625?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

As I mentioned in my previous post, the wireless USB Qwerty keyboard works just fine with the “factory” project file and I’d think it should work with my project, too.

It’s connected via a USB hub to which a MIDI keyboard controller is also connected. When I open my project, I have to route/open more MIDI ports. At least, note on messages from my MIDI keyboard go through fine.

Thanks for your help.
Chris

Hi Chris,
Do you have a MT Pro license or are you running on a Trial version? If you are running a Trial Version, your project file will not be signed and cannot run on BomeBox. That is why I was asking if you saw any error messages when uploading the project file.

I have an MT Pro license.

Hi, just in case there is a problem with the license. I went ahead and signed your project. It worked OK for me. Try uploading without doing any editing (which would kill the signature). If it works, there might be something wrong with the license key you have. If I remember, if you have a very short license name (like 3 or 4 characters), BomeBox doesn’t like it.

You can find out the license name by looking at your products page.

I reinstalled MT Pro only to find out that it was indeed an operation error on my part. I am embarrassed to tell you that in one VST host I was using PC messages were filtered out by default… Gee, I didn’t know that. Now everything works! Thank you for your help, Steve.

Glad to have helped, Chris!
