I am on a Mac OS 10.13.3 High Sierra Don’t know what happened. It just stopped translating. I use it with Reaper.┬áMidi comes in from a port on Moto micro express and shows on the event monitor and log window but then doesn’t translate and go out. I have default project ports set for both in and out and it has been working fine. I also upgraded to MTLP 1.8.3 build 892. Also ladded it to Security and Privacy/Accessibility to allow it to control my computer. I haven’t re started the computer yet. I will do that next. Anyone with ideas?

Hi, could you please post the project and maybe capture you log file with Incoming, Outgoing, MIDI IN and MIDI OUT all checked?

Fixed. I will go through the project and change the incoming trigger. I have no idea why it is different. Not sure if routing in the computer has anything to do with it as that changed. I also upgraded the OS and computer but it was working after I did that for a while. Anyhow thanks for opening my eyes. I will do some homework on MIDI messages also. Might help for the future.

Glad you got it working! I’m not sure what the source of the incoming Sysex Strings are but I would recommend you check the manual on that to see if there is configuration changes that would effect changes so that you can prevent future problems.

I took a screen shot. Is this what you wanted?

Well partially, however in the screen shot, I don’t see any incoming messages that match any of the translators which could be the problem. I would also check Incoming and Outgoing. The difference is that if the translator doesn’t match it will still show MIDI IN but you will not see incoming. The only Incoming messages shown will be those that match one or more of the translators.

Yes. I now see that the incoming Midi message is different than what I had previously set up. I don’t know how/why that changed. They are coming from the same source, DM24 mixer and the same button, record button on the same channel. Not understanding what all the parts of the midi message are puts me at a disadvantage. Maybe I need to modify the messages or start another project with the new midi messages in.
