Hello,

I would like to control the volume of my computer sound with a midi knob.  So I got my input midi set up to  Novation Launch Control.   (Device)    I have my out going set to Bome Midi Translator 1 Virtual Out.   But I don’t know where to go to hook up to Mac/systems preferences/sound/headphones/output volume

Thank you for helping.  :>)

Hi, for you sound output, it will not be a MIDI device, it should be whatever shortcut key or mouse movement that Mac uses to control the volume of the device you normally listen.

MIDI output is used for either MIDI enabled programs or external devices that are monitoring one of your MIDI ports.

I hope this helps!
