Launchpad – Ceating a toggle switch

Hello!

I am currently trying out the trial version of Bome Translator pro, to play around and get to know the software.

However, I already tried several methods, to create a “toggle switch”, so with one press the light shows up – while with the second one it turns off. The problem is that every time I press a button on my LP, it sends a 7F (full velocity) and a 00 value. I wasn’t able to set a preset up for this.

Can anyone help me please?

Thank you!

Hi,

Use a global variable and toggle the value each time you press the button

For instance

Incoming: Note On Note 2 on MIDI CH1 value 127

Rules:

// This toggles the variable ga between 0 and 1

ga=ga^1

// If you want to set a given color you would do so here

// default color

qq=127

// Set On color

if ga==1 the qq=5

// Set Off color

if ga!=1 then qq=3

Outgoing: Note On Note 2 on MIDI CH1 value qq
