Hello i bought midi translator pro and iam very happy with the software. But iam not able to programm a latch to a normal button when i press it it shows me the on off option so have to press twice to activate the buttons. Is a way to programm it like a normal button?
Hi, momentary to latch is easy but not latch to momentary. The reason is that a latch button will not send any information when you release it so MIDI Translator Pro cannot tell that you have done anything.
What controller are you running? Maybe there is a way to change the behavior of the button?For instance, an AkiaPro APC-40 has many of its switches set to latch by default, but you can send this controller a MIDI message to make all buttons momentary. Then you can use Bome MIDI Translator Pro to control the behavior of all buttons.
If your controller is Guitar Rig Kontrol, maybe there is something in the manual that shows you how you can configure everything as Momentary.

There might be a controller editor available from NI to change the behavior of some of the buttons.
There is a old Version of NI Controller Editor. I was able to figure it out now.
Its working like an Mackie Control Universal which is what i wanted.
