Edit MRU Files List

Post by carlosdmayo » Wed Apr 29, 2015 1:28 pm

Is there any way to increase the number of MRU files?

unfortunately not (really). The only (whacky) way is to edit the resources of SendSX.exe directly with a resource editor like Restorator: property MaxItems in TSSXForm.

Hmmm... Is this something I could test with the trial version of Restorator? Many thanks!

should work... but it'll add some "trial version" texts to SendSX.

Thanks! I may give it try. Can Restorator recompile the exe or will I need the SDK?

I've just tried it and it works. How about a deal: you purchase a license of Send SX and I'll send you a version of Send SX with the number of MRU files you like?
Thanks,
Florian

Actually, I installed Restorator and, as you said, it works just fine. I'm not a programmer or musician and would only have occasional, non commercial, need to use the utilities. I appreciate that these programs don't create themselves, and that you deserve to be compensated for your efforts. Keeping in mind that I'm a senior of modest means, I'd be amenable to negotiating an affordable license fee.

Let me know. You can contact me via my email address. Many thanks.
