Wow.. First guy on the forum... cool!!
Ok.. Csx1-Edit.. Does it work under WinXP?

Unfortunately, CS1x-Edit does not work on XP (yet).
This problem is known and is due to an incompatibility in Windows 2000/XP. Unfortunately, the fix is not trivial and I hope to find the time in the near future to correct CS1x-Edit and release a new version that works on Windows 2000 and XP. I'm also longing for the new version!
I'll notify anyone who's interested when the new version is available.

I added a note to the download section on the CS1x-Edit page that it won't work on Windows NT, 2000, or XP.

i have been trying for years now with this, you would think wih all this crazy software someone can put this little patch editor out on xp , mac,
anything is a start......
i contacted yahmaha as well and they said
Thank you for contacting Yamaha.
However, to our regret, there is no CS1X editor or a universal midi patch editor available for Mac OSX. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
