A question for parameters in command-line mode

Post by Cathy Cheng » Sun Aug 30, 2009 4:56 pm

How to launch Restorator silently in command-line mode, i.e., the main window isn't shown up? I used "-guiless" or "-auto" in command-line but they don't work. Is there some else parameter for this purpose?

My command line is written and run in an application, for example, a or vb 6.0 application to modify the file version of some dll, exe, or ocx files. However, the restorator main window is always shown up when my applicaiton with the restorator command-line is launched.

Hi Cathy,

sorry for the late reply. Currently, the main window is always shown. I use it in scripts, too, and usually that's no problem unless you're executing it on a server without monitor. It does flash Restorator's window though, that's my only annoyance.

You do use the /close parameter, right?
