support for msi files

Post by piaqt » Tue May 08, 2007 2:11 am

I'd like to open windows installer (msi) files with Restorator. And thanks once again for fixing the Vista icons issue.

Hmmm, I'm not sure that msi files can easily be opened, since they are essentially like zip archives, I guess. I'll note it for further investigation.

So (theoretically) they can be opened with winzip or winrar?

U can use orca (free ms tool) for editing msi files, if you want to create a custom setupfile you can use Inno Setup (also free)
