Using 2 two keyboards

Hello everyone reading this post :)

I use 2 keyboards on my computer. Now I would like to use one of them as input device for the MT while the other one operates as usual(shortcuts in reason etc.)

Is this possible?

Thanks!

Hi Mrk,

sorry for the late reply...
certainly, that should be easily possible with MT.

No, MT as in "I meant MK = Mouse Keyboard" :)

There shouldn't be any problem using two keyboards (or more).

Sorry for the typo.

I'm trying to do exactly this but the two keyboards I have plugged in to the computer are both playing MT. Nice for repeated notes but not what I'm looking for :D

Is it possible to assign MT to a specific keyboard so that this keyboard is completely dedicated to MT alone, even if MT is in the background? Thanks.

we're not aware of a way to assign one keyboard to Mouse Keyboard (MK).
Your mileage can get a little better with Midi Translator (MT):

People have bought special computer keyboards that use "extended" keys that can be captured with MT, but are usually ignored by "normal" applications.
But setup is more complicated...
