All notes from entire MIDI song fall back to the first bar.

Hi all,

I have just record the first midi track using grand piano, for the backing accompanying track.

I'm now recording the second midi track using Syn Strings 2 and now have two issues:

1. As seen in the below picture, when recording is finished, all the recorded notes fall back to the first bar of the entire song, and there's nothing I can do about it.

2. I can't seem to have a different patch or instrument for the second midi track, as everytime I adjust it to Synth Strings 2, it automatically falls back to Grand Piano.

Looked through manuals and yahoo, and can't seem to find anything about it

Any help much appreciated.

I would think you'd be better answered on a forum dedicated to Cubase. Your MK to Cubase connection obviously is working okay, it's just the Cubase transport and recording settings that need to be ironed out.

Perhaps some of the Cubase experienced members could help out some?
