Hi upgraded to Mavericks had to hunt to find the "enable assistive devices" option but found it under privacy in settings panel, selected MT to have access yet I'm unable to input or output keystrokes in Bomes, using latest version, thanks.

Hi, thanks for reporting this problem.
We've tested MT on a pre-release version of Mavericks, where everything worked fine...
I've just installed Mavericks to see what's going on.

Best regards,

Hi,

I've tried again, and everything works fine! I had to restart MT to activate Keystroke Input after activating it in the list of "accessibility" programs.

At first, I've used a super simple preset with just one translator entry:

Code: Select all

Incoming: Keystroke: M
Outgoing: Keystroke: N
Then I switched to text edit, and pressed the key "M". MT then types "n" on its own.
I've also tried with shortcuts.

Can you describe in detail what you've done?

Thanks,
Florian

PS: note that keystrokes are disabled when MT is the active application (otherwise it could get very difficult to edit presets...)

Yes. It works fine. How embarrassing, I don't know why I was freaking out without having tested it in my target app. Sorry to worry you at all. Thanks so much for your time.
