How to assign a Global variable

I know I am stupid!

I am trying to create a GLobal Variable.
To do it I created a new preset with a single translator.
In it, with no input or output action I used the Variables tab and assigned to a Variable named Gc a value of 2

I go to the Log window and ask to list all variables.

I don't see my just created variable at all.

I know I am doing something foolish or missing something.

What is it? Thanks!

Hi Mike

You cannot trigger a global variable without an input. If you want it to be set to that value when the project loads then set your Incoming Signal as Special-> On project Load and it will automatically be set.
