Simulating key-on , key-off events

Hi,
I'm trying to link an external MIDI controller to a opensourece software which mimics GuitarHero.
I find that it requires continuous key presses, which means we have to distinguish between key press and key release.
Now my controller outputs note on and note off, but I couldn't find a way to make MIDI translator do this.

Hi,

the upcoming version of Midi Translator will give you the possibility to separately specify Key down and key up events, including configurable repetition if you press the down key for a longer time.
