Translating CC 0-127 to 14-bit pitchbend

I have an X/Y joystick that transmits standard CC 0-127. I want to control the pitchbend on a synthesizer, but it only accepts 14-bit messages. Im having a hard time trying to figure out how to translate this..
Couldn't find any precise info on the forum.

Any help would be great.
(Im aware of the fact that this will lower the resolution drastically..)
