Hi Will,

this is a great idea, and it is already planned for a future version of "Midi Translator Pro". You can subscribe to the announcement list to receive an email upon Midi Translator updates.

Thanks,

That's exactly what brought me to this program! I was searching on the internet for USB footswitches, to control the shooter game Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Most of the products were either too expensive or not available over here (the Netherlands).
Then I thought, hey I have this Roland SPD-11 pad controller with a footswitch, maybe I can somehow use that and then i found this program through this topic:

Too bad I don't have the right cables over here to connect my SPD to my soundcard, otherwise I could have tried it right away. If it works well I think I'll add another footswitch!

Hi,

I've already written such a driver for game pad emulation, but it's not integrated yet. If emulated keyboard output is sufficient, MT will already do the trick for you. You can test it without a MIDI cable by
- using a virtual MIDI cable (e.g. MidiYoke)
- Sending MIDI events through that MIDI cable e.g. with Bome's Mouse Keyboard: http://www.bome.com/midi/keyboard/

You can sign up to the announcement list to get an email when a new version of MT is available.

Florian
