Can MT translate a MIDI file?

Can MIDI Translator process a MIDI file, rather than realtime data?

The application I'm thinking of is a MIDI drum file that you'd like to play on a different drum library, where the notes are mapped differently.

To be able to configure a template as to which note goes where, and translate the MIDI file would be awesome.

ah, a good idea -- kind of an offline MIDI translation. I add it to the feature request list, but it's probably not going to be in the next version, rather the version after.
