MT high CPU usage at about 50%

Hi,

I asked myself why my MacBook´s cooler is sometimes blowing as soon as I start up MT. I researched that the CPU usage jumps up to about 50% and stays at 50%. This happens also without having loaded only one preset. I work with MT 1.6.2 built 372. After restarting MT the CPU usage often goes down to 2%.

Does anybody out there know this problem and how to fix it? Do I have the latest version? Is this a known issue?

Hi Michael,

this is a known issue in 1.6.2. Can you please try 1.6.3 beta and report if that's fixed? We're about to release 1.6.3!
