apc40 - converting cc to rotary (increase-drecrease)

hi outthere!
apc40´s device controllers are cc (continuous 0-127 output).
how can i get the transition to act these controllers (output continuous 0-127) to real encoders (output 0 OR 127 for increase / decrease)?

Hi, check out this post:

I referred to a CC value as "absolute" and the encoder value as "relative".

hi florian,
thanks for that.
this pushed me big step forward.
unfortunately there´s one more thing not working. when the cc values are reaching the 0 or 127 no further output is done... like a real encoder/rotary does.
i´ve read the comment from you "repeating an outgoing action" with a timer a little bit later in this thread, but is there a smarter way to get this realized now (linked thread is year 2008 - i think this was an older version of bmtp)?

generally, mt only does something when a "trigger" comes in. Now when there is no MIDI message coming anymore because the knob is at its end position, MT will not be able to react on them. I still only see a timer in mt as solution to generate triggers when the device doesn't.
