importing a preset in a preset

hello,

I have made two presets and I'd like to mix them in one preset , this would be easier
to switch from one to another if I could select the preset I want to use in the left pane of midi translator
instead of loading it....

Hi abducted

You can run 2 instances of MIDI Translator on windows, so you can have both open and copy n' paste from there!

Scott,

Unless I'm doing something wrong, it doesn't look like you can do this on a mac. Can you confirm?

Thanks!

you can, but it's clumsy to start two instances on Mac.

As you cannot copy a preset (until v1.6.2), do it like this:
1) load the first preset file
2) select all translator entries in the preset
3) Copy them
4) open the second preset file
5) create a new preset, select it
6) paste the translators

Hope that makes sense!
Florian

PS: version 1.6.3 (currently in beta) introduces copy/paste of entire presets

Thanks Florian ... that worked :D

I did try copying the whole preset using Beta 1.6.3 but got the following message:
Error: executing Preset|Copy: (ExceptionInInitializerError)
