Hi, it seems an obvious question but i want to make sure Im considering getting Bomes and am wondering if i could control my external effects processor with an external computer keypad. This would make it so i dont need to buy a super portable midi foot controllor. Thanks Alot

It depends on your external FX can respond to MIDI messages.

Check the manual.

And if you have an external MIDI interface, unless it's a USB device?

No, if it IS a USB MIDI device, then you can control it. What exactly do you want to do?

Hey Scott, I want to use an USB QWERTY keyboard as a foot controllor to switch presets and control my Axe Fx preamp/effects processor. The Axe Fx is connected to my computer via a midi interface. And if possible have a key on the keyboard that toggles the keyboard's control from Daw/Live Looper to the AXe Fx.I hope to have a full keyboards worth of control for each and be able to toggle back and forth as im playing live. This way i could bring around one light keyboard that fully controls both. Im currently using a keyboard as my Live Looper foot controllor and its working great. Thanks, Lapo

Then yes, you will be able to control your keyboard via the QWERTY keyboard...
