Using Bomes to Control Ableton and Plugins

Hello,

i want to create something quite simple (i guess), but right now i can' think of the right solution. The scenario is the following:
i have assigned one fader of my MPD24 to one of volume faders in ableton. In another channel i have a reactor plugin. What i want now is, that the fader controls both: ableton fader + a controller of the plugin.
how can i do this? I have to somehow split the midi signals i guess.

thanks,
Itch

Hi Itch,

Have you tried simply mapping the fader to both controls, i'm thinking this is the answer unless i've totally misunderstood what you're trying to achieve?

that's exactly what my problem is too, u can't just map to both ableton fader & reaktor fader...if u map to ableton first the reaktor plugin doesnt pick up the cc at all...it's either abl or reaktor

Hi Itchthrill!

You should be able to do this quite easily. In MT, you just need to duplicate the input message (2 translators) and have each one output a different MIDI message. Something like this:

Input B0 01 oo > Output B0 02 oo
Input B0 01 oo > Output B0 03 oo

Here the 1 fader sends 2 output messages, you will now be able to map this to both controls.

I hope this solves your issue!
