APC40 Lights

Hi bomers,
I'm working on my preset remapping just the solo and arm buttons to trigger midi notes. Two translators for each button, note on and note of.
With this translators i can't get the lights on.
I'm doing something wrong?

Midi ports: in/out for apc checked, and Bome's virtual in/out checked.
Routed apc in to bome's out and apc out to bome's in.
In Live Bome's in/out for Apc remote.

In Live you shouldn't have the output or input going directly to or from the APC.....

Instead in Bomes have a second preset that takes the midi in from the APC eg note on, and then translates this to the note on (with the right velocity) that returns to the APC...

This way all of your light states will be handled within Bomes as Ableton is very clunky about the lights once you've introduced any translators...

It's some effort but it's well worth it....

Once you've got one button licked you'll be moving on to set up the lighting for different scenes of the clip launch buttons....
