I'll also be giving it a solid run tomorrow. I was tempted to try it out yesterday for a live gig last night but just couldn't tempt fate like that with a beta version! (though the new features would have been very handy)

Found a typo in Rules\Then: "Assigment"

Thank you for the beta and also for a separate Mac thread.

I tried to load the latest encrypted preset from Stanton for dual SCS.3d and Traktor Pro (thread: http://forums.stantondj.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=286 ) and get this error:
"Error(007): cannot open project file ...../TPRO 2to2 SCS.3d base3.bmte
Error loading project
Error(015): This project file not compatible with this version of Midi Translator.
Please try to get an updated project file."

With the Windows 1.7.0 version I don't get an error, but I can't really tell if it does anything.

On the by: I don't like clutter in my home directory. Is it possible to move the directory "Bome's Midi Translator" into the "Documents" subdirectory or somewhere else?

Madcow, thanks for the typo, it'll be fixed in the next version.

Badibeat: thanks for the report. In general, you cannot open encrypted presets. That's the goal of encryption :) Stanton does publish non-encrypted presets, too -- but only once they are in a state they like to be "opened" to the public. Check out files with extension ".bmtp". We work on a way to let the user choose the default preset directory. In general, you can just move it. That directory is only created on first start.

Florian

Hi Florian
Thank you for the replies. It is helpful to know stuff.
Sorry for not being a good beta tester - I really want to start from a useful preset with lots of feedback before investing time.
I will pester the guys at stanton some more to provide some editable preset for the SCS.3d and Traktor Pro.
cheers
