Built-in virtual MIDI port for Mac? (in audio midi set up)

Hi,

If Bome "Bome's Midi Translator 1 Virtual Out" acts as a built-in virtual MIDI port, then shouldn't I see it on my "Audio midi set up" in OSX ?

I installed Bomes MT on Paralell Desktop (mac/windows software for dual-core macs, similar to Bootcamp), and Windows gave out that little sound and a notice that it found new hardware and then installed the Bomes Virtual Midi Port (windows). Isn't this supposed to happen in OSX too ?

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

the build in virtual ports are only active in OS X, if Midi Translators are started. I believe that they are not "installed", so you cannot see them in the Audio midi set up.

They are different to the Windows drivers, which are installed in the system as real windows drivers.
