Multiple midi inputs for Mac?

I noticed multiple midi inputs is a new feature for the 1.7 version. I'm working on the Mac version and this feature might be essential for a future project. Do you think you this feature will be implemented in the mac version soon?

we are working hard to get the GUI to the 1.7 level. The engine is ready, only GUI work has to be done. We plan to release it this month.
