Severe latency???

I just downloaded MT Pro for Mac, and tested out a keystroke translator into Ableton Live, but there was bad latency, like almost .1 second. I did a not-so-scientific test of hitting two midi drum pads at the same time (multiple times) one routed directly to live, and the other through MT Pro and it was consistently almost .1s of delay, which was very noticeable when triggering drum sounds live.

In that in interview on djtechtools.com it said there was less than 0.2ms of latency, so i must be doing something wrong.

I'm new to this, and want to get this program for a custom controller I'm building, but need to know if there is a way to fix this.

I haven't recently tested keystrokes, but 0.1 seconds (100ms) seems really bad. In any case, the keystroke code is not yet optimized, so MT's performance will improve in future. But, in general, keystrokes MAY be much slower than MIDI, because the operating system is handling them and who knows how optimized the keystroke handling is in the OS?
