Rim or Head?

Is there a way to have two midi notes come in (One from the head, One from the Rim), but only one ( the loudest) come out.

And if that's possible what about a third option for if head and rim are close in vlolume (rimshot)

My roland brain does this, deciding if I hit the rim or the head. I just thought there might be a way to send both separately to Bome's and then get Head (all head) , Rimshot (half rim, half head), and just rim only (all rim).

Any ideas?

Hi Ozarkeys,

using MT's rules, you should be able to achieve all of that. For the first issue, it's easiest to set a threshold, e.g. velocity=64. Any notes with lower velocity will then be filtered out.
