Hello...Question about Slicing programs

Thank you for the creation of this wonderful tool...

However, i'm curious to know if i would be able to use my M Audio trigger Finer drum pad's knobs to control the movement/placement of slice markers in my slicing program *Zero X Beatcreator*

there are no midi options for it, and to my knowledge the only mouse-free command i can use to control the movement of the markers are "ALT+left, or ALT+right".

I'm trying to recreate the MPC feel of chopping audio and i've yet to discover any programs that support what i'm trying to do..

So, will i be able to assign the alt functions to a knob on my triger finger?

Hi Donny,

yes, you should be able to create Translator Entries following this scheme:

Incoming: MIDI message
(use "Capture" to get the correct MIDI message from the Trigger finger)
Outgoing: Keystroke: Alt+left

In MT's MIDI IN menu, select the trigger finger. Then switch to the Beatcreator software and try...

Just try yourself! The classic version will be fine for this.
