Incoming Strings and Two Outgoing Messages

Hello Florian

For use with my virtual organs, I am considering the use of an 8x16 EPOS Matrix Keyboard.
This keyboard would be programmable, with non-volatile memory, with the facility for all the keys to be programmed with strings. The keyboard could be connected via PS2 or USB.
This prompts me to ask if you plan to have MTP accept a string as an Incoming Message?

Also, I would find it useful to have translators transmit two Outgoing Messages i.e. String and Midi. What do you think?

Regards

Peter

Hi Peter,

thanks for the suggestions.

MT Pro does allow input of "keys", but not of strings. You could use the rules to filter for strings, but it's probably easier to use just single letters, if possible.

A future version of MT Pro will allow any number of outgoing actions per Translator entry.

Florian

Just checking whether furture version will be able send midi information to more than one output desintion.

Also have you any idea of an approximate target date for a new version (looking forward to it)

Best
