MT preset ini file

I recently upgraded my OS to XP. Before I wiped my HDD clean in prep for the new install, I did a full HDD archive using TrueImage. After loading XP, I installed MT, but can't find where MT stored the preset ini file on my archive so I could copy it back to my new install. Does anyone know where the ini file is stored and what the filename is?

Hi Paul,

unless you've exported the preset to an actual file, the presets are stored in the registry, in the registry key
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bomers\Bome's Midi Translator\MidiTranslator\Presets

It may be difficult to examine the registry of your old system if you cannot boot it anymore... On Windows 2000, the user registry hive is in the file C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\NTUser.dat (probably it's the same on Windows XP).
