Is it possible to assign one MIDI button to transmit a whole series of keystrokes?
For example, I am playing live with a sequencer using an instrument in track 1. I would like to switch to the track 8 instrument in realtime by simply hitting a button. On the keyboard I would click the DOWN ARROW 7 times in order to get to track 8. Is it possible for MT to do this with one button (i.e. I hit B1 on my Edirol controller, and it transmits a series of 7 Down Arrow keys rapidly?)
Also, can it do this in more complex configurations? i.e. DOWN, DOWN, TAB, ENTER, TAB, TAB, TAB, ENTER -- in order to navigate through various options of a softsynth interface?
Thanks,
chris.
