Cubase 8 not getting regular keystrokes

Hi,

Cant make Cubase receive the keystrokes sent by MT classic edition. Ableton Live woks as expected. Cubase 7 elements works as expected on another computer too, but this version of Cubase 8 just doesnt get it (tried many different virtual midi ports with no luck whatsoever).

Is this a known issue with newer versions of Cubase? Anything i can try?

Apparently i am not the only one with Steinberg products suffering from this issue.

interesting... have you tried MIDI Translator Pro? It uses a slightly improved way to emulate key strokes. Also, the Pro edition allows you to "inject" key strokes, which could be another alternative which could work in Cubase.

Tried converting midi to midi with MT and Cubase still not getting it for some reason. Looks like an issue with Cubase and MIDI virtual ports
