How to remove F8 timing messages?

A user asked:

How do I filter out the F8 timining messages that are CONSTANTLY coming in.

I don't know how I'm supposed to debug my actual notes when I can't see them through all these timing messages.

Go to the Project properties, Project Default MIDI ports (or any other list of MIDI ports) and right-click on the MIDI IN port which sends the timing messages. Uncheck "Allow Timing Messages" and you should be set!
