[solved] mouse movements not working

hello all

i am brand new to mt and love the idea of the mouse and keyboard out puts but i just cant get them working. its almost definitely my silly fault for not setting up correctly but i just cant get it working. let me talk you through how iv done this already from start to finish.

so i start by opening the program
i select my midi input
i add a translator
i select properties of the translation
i go to the top box incoming and select capture and press my midi button
the incoming field is filled in with the correct note and the midi in light turns red
i then go down to out going and select mouse position
i select capture and move the mouse to the right position and click the screen
the boxes are filled with the screen coordinates

i then try and press the midi button that i setup but nothing happens the mouse doesnt move

as far as i understand thats all i should have to do but im obviously missing something

if anyone can give a newbie a start to finish tutorial of what im doing wrong that would be fantastic

I was being silly and thinking that when I selected capture it was saving what u had pressed but it was not I had to select the right note in the capture window silly me.

I'm so new to this I suspect many more questions haha
