Hello,

I'm trying to use my Midas M32 to control some waves, Fabfilter etc.. Plugins and found a very good YouTube video explaining a very cool way of controlling onscreen plugins.
Here's what I'm trying to do convert absolute rotary encoder to relative mode.
for example: have M32(control change 0-127) send midi to MT and convert it to say left turn on encoder sends -63 repeatedly, right turn sends +65 repeatedly and when not doing nothing return at 64.

Please let me know if this is possible MT before I purchase. A step by step would greatly be appreciated as I'm new MT and not very technical with midi codes thanks!

Hi Riki

What you want to do is definitely possible, and not that complicated. I think the Midas M32 uses endless encoders for its absolute messages. If you set up a translator like described in this thread it should do what you want. The major issue you'll run into is how the knob reacts once you hit the full right position (127). Does it continue sending a 127 message, or does it stop?

Thanks
