Using PC USB ports as Midi Out

Hi there,
I am completely new to the midi world so forgive me if this is a dumb question. Can my PC USB ports be a Midi Out?
Here's the layout:
I have an AKAI APC40 (usb out) > windows7 PC
Windows7 is running Bome's translator. I've remapped the APC40.
I want to now send the translated Midi signal out via usb to a Full Boar Hog4 (stage lighting console that accepts usb Midi in)

Is this possible? Can/How do I do it within Bome's? Do I need a different program?

Thanks. Any info is helpful.

Tony

Hi Tony

Yes, what you want to do is possible. You would need to get a USB to MIDI cable, which should come with drivers to provide a MIDI port. If you have any device that has a MIDI Out, like an audio interface or a USB MIDI router, it would be a bit better suited for this. MT Pro will be able to handle sending any message to an available MIDI port.

Hope that helps
