Hammond Xk-2

Just purchased MT...

Wow.

I used the bundled Hammond XM-1 preset to use my Hammond Xk-2 to control GSI's Vb3 in 64 bit Studio One.

Wow.

Hammond's sysex messages instead of CC had proven to be unreadable by SEVERAL other MT-type apps I tried... There are a few things I'm gonna have figure out as not everything from the XM-1/B4 preset slates directly into GSI's Vb3... But, at least I can play on my favorite "fake" Hammond keybed and use my drawbars.

Wow.


I'm wondering if anyone else is using the Hammond XK-2 with GSI VB3.

No worries... Such a great product. I wish that I was a bit smarter so that I could figure out how to port the preset to match my particular Hammond; but, alas I am not!

I hope we can help even without an Xk-2. If you can specify exactly what is sent by the Xk-2 (use the capture function in the MIDI Incoming Action), and what you want it translated to, that would be a good start...
