USB "game" pedals

In general, I'm surprised by the shortage of simple, cheap USB control pedals for music applications; something that looks like a keyboard sustain, but which you could plug into a laptop for use with Live, say.

Just about the only thing I've come across (besides expensive MIDI floorboards) is this Eowave pedal...

...but I wondering if I could use one of these much cheaper USB "game" pedals which apparently emulate key presses.

Any opinions...?

Hi BJG

That footpedal can be programmed to send any keystroke, so it can easily become a keyboard sustain depending on what you're plugging it into. If you program it to a keystroke you can use Bome's MIDI Translator to turn it into a CC message.
