CS1X CONNECT VIA PC2 HOST TO----?

hI, FOR YEARS I BEEN USSING MY CS1x connected via pc2 host with CBX driver to the serial port com2 on my old pc.
Now i have another system and my new mother asus M3N78-VM dont have any serial coms (rs-232)

How is the best and "modern" way to connect the CS1x via hostPc port
to a new Xp machine without a visible serial com port?

You should see a 'COM1' serial header along the bottom edge of the motherboard. You could wire your connection there using the pinout and spare parts. Or you could give ASUS more money

you may even rip out the COM1 header + connector from an older computer.

Or, get a USB-to-Serial adapter... (but timing may be mediocre)

Well, yeah i found teh internal com1 port, i can buya bracket to connect it
externally, or practice some surgery on my old pc like Florians suggestion
