Bome Network Pro
This Add-On for Bome Network allows you to establish MIDI connections from computer to computer, and also to Apple tablets and smartphones via Ethernet and via WiFi. This is similar to Apple’s Network MIDI, except that it seamlessly works with the BomeBox, too, and Network pairings are persistent across reboots. Temporary network disconnections, like unplugged cables, are handled gracefully.
Note: MIDI connections to the BomeBox also work without the Pro license.
The latest version is 1.6.0.
macOS and Windows
Upon purchase in this web shop, you’ll receive a license key for macOS and/or Windows. Enter the license key in the Bome Network settings to activate the Pro features.
License Keys purchased here, in the Bome Webshop, cannot be used on iOS or iPadOS.
Bome Network is not compatible with Windows on ARM.

On iPhones and iPads, the Bome Network Pro license needs to be purchased in the App Store.
Licenses purchased in the Apple App Store cannot be activated on macOS or Windows (and visa versa).

License Handling
Floating License
This Bome Network Pro (5 devices) license in our web shop is good for connecting up to 5 devices at a time using Bome Network. You can freely select and change those up to 5 devices as long as you don’t exceed the total number of connected devices. A device, in this context, is a computer (macOS or Windows), an iPhone, or an iPad. BomeBoxes don’t count (they can be connected to without the Pro license anyway).
Licenses are Cumulative
You can purchase the 5-device license multiple times in the web shop to increase the number of devices you connect to. Also the iOS/iPadOS licenses count towards your maximum number of devices you can connect. For example, if you purchased this 5-device license twice, and the 2-device iOS license in the Apple App Store, your total maximum number of devices is 12. For each of those 12 devices, it does not matter if they’re macOS, Windows, iOS, or iPadOS.
iOS / iPadOS License must be purchased separately
Unfortunately, Apple requires add-on licenses to be purchased via their App Store.
The license key purchased here in our web shop cannot be used on iPhone / iPad. And the iOS/iPad license cannot be used on macOS or Windows.
For connecting a computer with the iPhone or iPad app, you need to purchase a Pro license on both platforms.
However:
- the number of devices purchased in our web shop add up to the number of devices purchased in the Apple App Store
- a license purchased in the App Store will be available automatically on all iPhones and iPads which use the same Apple ID. Use the app’s Restore previous purchases button to activate on other devices.

This product is purchased as a digital download. After your purchase, you will receive the personal license key via email.
Requirements
In order for this software to correctly work, your computer must meet the following requirements:
- the operating system is either Windows or macOS
- free hard disk space is at least 150MB
Software Protection
Please note that this software uses technical means to prevent modification of the software itself. If the binary executables are modified, the program will stop working. This can be fixed by reinstalling the software from the original installer.
