Restorator 2007 Screenshots

The structure of the Restorator User Interface. On the left are all resources files that Restorator has loaded, ready to be viewed and modified. On the right is a preview of the selected resource in a representation of your choice.

The right side can be toggled to the File Browser to have easy access to files on the hard drive containing resources.

The left side displaying loaded resources and the right side displaying the files are connected by intuitive drag and drop.

The new version editor gives you full access to the version resource.

1. The default view mode: display resources in the best representation.

2. "ab" edit mode: modify resources directly in Restorator. This example shows how you can translate dialogs with appropriate resizing of elements.
The modification can also be done with linked external applications, like image processing applications.

3. The hex view mode: see the raw contents of a resource.

4. The RC view mode lets you see a representation in standard RC text.

Easy wizards help to accomplish more sophisticated tasks. This example shows the selection of a language. With Restorator, additional languages can be added to an existing application (multi language support).

Viewing an icon in the Restorator resource editor.

Resources are displayed in Restorator by simple selection, providing an overview of the contents.

Context sensitive pop up menus enable immediate access to the most important functionalities.

Adding a resource is easy -- just choose the type and language ID and enter a name.

The Tools menu gives access to Restorator's powerful additional tools.

Adding an XP manifest to an exe file is as easy as filling out this dialog!

Need to know where a specific resource is? Use the Find in Files tool!

The Grab Resources tool lets you save selected resource types to disk of all you exe files on your hard disk.
